Thursday Nov 7th dawned much finer. Just the usual parades & a visit to Le Cotroy & picture show in the evening.
Tuesday Nov 7th bright and clear, after some unpredicted rain last night. Melbourne Cup day, so most of the office staff are all dressed up for a day at the races (corporate tent, schmoozing the clients). Sister should be at the airport now, back from her scrabble tournament in Auckland.
